What’s next for RLL?
RLL wants to thank everyone who plans to participate in our season this year! We are so excited to get these kids back out on the field. Here is some important information for parents to be aware of as get going…
Player Assessments: Minors, Majors & Juniors will be required to attend Player Assessments next week. Please keep an eye out for your player’s information about their assessment night.
Minor Baseball- Tuesday All Softball- Wednesday Major & Junior Baseball- Thursday
*T-Ball & Rookie players do not attend assessments
We are still looking for Team Sponsors for this season. If you know if a business that would be interested in sponsoring a team, please direct them to the Sponsorship Inquiries tab on our website.
Gear Swap: RLL will be hosting a gear swap on Saturday February 27! More information will be coming out soon.
The only Required Equipment/Gear for players to have: baseball pants, a glove and cleats. The rest of the equipment will be provided by the league. RLL will also provide a hat and jersey for each player (hat and t-shirt for Pee Wee players)
If you are planning to Coach, be sure you have completed everything listed on the Coaching Info tab on the website. There will be a mandatory Coach Meeting on Saturday February 27. More info to come.
Coaches will be contacting families shortly after they receive their team rosters. Please be patient as you wait to hear from a coach. If you haven’t heard from anyone by Monday, March 8, please email us!
We will not be holding Opening Ceremonies this season due to Covid. So please be on the look out for a parent information email that will be sent out in leu of Opening Ceremonies.
Game Schedules will be posted and emailed out as soon as they are finished. Please be on the look out for them the last week of March. Games will start for most teams on Saturday, April 3. Games will be Monday-Saturday throughout the season. *Pee Wee games will start later in the season
RLL will be hosting the District All-Stars Tournament this year!! All-Stars will start June 18th. More information will be sent out throughout the season about this tournament, and which players are eligible to play.
A lot of parents have emailed asking what the Covid Guidelines will be for the season. We are still getting all the information put together, but here are some basics to expect:
If any players or spectators are feeling sick, or showing symptoms of Covid, please keep them home
Parents will be asked to remain in the vehicles for practices
Parents, players, and coaches are encouraged to wear masks if they cannot maintain 6ft from others
Players will not wear masks while out on the field
Spectators are encouraged to spread out along all the fence lines to watch games, instead of piling in behind home plate
